Traffic management and notification of roadworks

For certain Traffic Management Plans, a Proposed Roadworks Notification needs to be submitted to the City in accordance with the Main Roads WA Traffic Management for Works on Roads Code of Practice. This is particularly important where the City of Canning has not been the Authorised Body to approve the Traffic Management Plan for implementation. For submitting Traffic Management Plans (TMP's), please refer to Traffic Management Plans

Summary of instructions

  • Notification of Roadworks should be submitted for the situations described in the Main Roads WA Traffic Management for Works on Roads Code of Practice in accordance with the timeframes contained within that document.
  • For Emergency works, Notification of Roadworks should be submitted as soon as practical if it's not possible to submit in accordance with the above timeframes.
  • Location Details - Type in the location of the nearest property and select the appropriate location. Add a marker for the location on the map. If multiple locations apply, add a marker at each location on the map.
  • Provide proposed dates and a summary of works.
