Urgent requests

  • If you see a hazard, please report it to the City by calling 1300 4 CANNING (1300 422 664). You can call this number 24-hours a day for urgent/high priority assistance.
  • This will allow an Officer to respond with the highest priority.

Important

  • The City will respond to requests to maintain public accessways.
  • Public accessways are serviced three times per year as per the City's Public Accessway Maintenance Program.
  • If possible, please attached a photograph of the issue in the public accessway.

Types of maintenance

  • Mowing
  • Weed control
  • Pruning
  • Sweeping.

Dividing fences

  • Maintenance of dividing fences adjacent to government owned public accessways are the responsibility of the property owner as per the Dividing Fences Act 1961.
